Green Lake Bike Trails
Green Lake has developed a series of
on-road bike tours; quiet rides to
neighboring small towns or a 27-mile
loop around the city. You can pedal off
to Princeton or Ripon
or Berlin and enjoy
views of the rural
countryside as you
go. As you travel past
meadows and rolling
hills, look for small
songbirds in the
thickets, raptors
perched along trees
in woodlots and
Turkey Vultures overhead.
Listen for
Willow Flycatchers calling from the
elderberry bushes, and for the chatter
of Belted Kingfishers.
