SITE NOMINATIONS

Anyone may nominate a site as an Important Bird Area. Nominating a site involves following the nomination procedure, detailed below. A site must meet certain criteria to be considered, and a nomination form must be completed. Nominations need to be supported by data on the diversity and abundance of birds that use the site.
